| As I prepare to place the History of the Catholic Church on this web page
I will do it in stages since it can be overwhelming. My reference books are
extensive. Review the Bibliography for the many sources. Just
remember that history is written by the conquerors and not by those who
lost the many wars of Europe.
Along with each chapter presented will be numbers of handouts that correspond with the numbers. These will be listed at the end of the chapter with a short annotation as what the article is about. You must go to the handout section link to read them. These handouts are "periodic" writings of the times and are written by historians, philosophers, emperors, bishops, fathers of the Church etc... Not all of them are religious writings, but pertain to the time period that we will be studying in that particular chapter. |
