| This is the Church's program for bringing in new adult converts (No we do not just let you sign your name on the bottom line). We want you to know who we are and we want you to know what being Catholic is all about. When I converted at the age of 19, Father Kreiger said to me "once you are Catholic--you are always Catholic!" So the commitment to becoming a Christian (yes we invented the word) will never be taken lightly. You must learn your way through our doors, but the journey will be wonderful because you will experience God in a very powerful way and discover our Catholic tradition that is 2000 years old. |

My special thanks to all of those on the web out there who responded positively to my original opening remarks about RCIA. Your input and suggestions for a "new" RCIA program are most welcomed and I will incorporate them, as best I can, into my new proposed format. |
